The American Psychological Foundation and the Council of Graduate Departments of Psychology offer 15 scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to cover the costs of psychological research for graduate students working on their master’s or doctoral degrees in psychology. 

Every graduate department of psychology in the United States that is a member of COGDOP is eligible to nominate excellent graduate students working on their doctorate or master’s thesis. 

Nominees must provide an official transcript of their graduate work, a brief overview of their research proposal, a letter of recommendation from their graduate research adviser, and a completed application form.

Undergraduate Research Grant from Psi Chi

The worldwide honor society offers this stipend in psychology to undergraduate Psi Chi student members performing field research in social psychology

All applicants require a research proposal and a letter of recommendation from a faculty sponsor. Award winners must submit a final report within one year of receiving their award.

Arnold Horowitz Memorial Scholarship
